Let’s continue to collaborate and advance together!

Last week, I had the opportunity to speak at a significant meeting in Germany, where German police officers discussed evolving methods for training working dogs. Across Europe, there is a growing trend towards re-evaluating animal training practices in light of new animal welfare laws, scientific research, and fresh insights. These changes are sparking constructive discussions within the working dog community.
It's essential that we share information, collaborate on best practices, and integrate operational knowledge. Equally important is the development of a common "training language" to unify trainers across various fields, including police, military, customs, security, wildlife detection, and other K9 professions. Despite the proliferation of electronics, sensors, and advanced technologies, dogs remain crucial in many security operations. For example, the significant presence of K9 teams at the Olympic Games underscores their ongoing importance.
Let's focus on finding common ground and working together, rather than judging and ignoring each other's perspectives. I'm thrilled that my latest book, *Das Pavlov Projekt* (in German) or *Dog Training Decoded* (in English), has resonated with many police dog schools across Europe and the U.S. Let’s continue to collaborate and advance together!
