These materials are typically highly absorbent and retain scents effectively, allowing trainers to present consistent scent samples to their canine partners during training sessions. Soak materials play a crucial role in detection training by allowing trainers to present consistent and realistic scent samples for dogs to detect. The choice of soak material depends on factors such as availability, cost, convenience, and the specific requirements of the training program.
